Pastoral CareKnitting for Babies with Aids in Africa This all started in Shirley where my sister Barbar asked if I would knit some vest and hats for babies with aides and I agreed. A friend of mine saw me and asked if she could do some. Sue in the Parish Office printed some patterns for me and we announced it in the Pew Slip and in the Parish Magazine, since then it has grown and all of the parish have joined in and also people in Shirley that shop at Crash Bang Wallop, together with the Craft Club in Shirley. The first year we sent 166 sets but this year we achieved 1700 sets and about 50 blankets and 55 teddies so a big thank you to all of yoiu for such a great effort
